Astrid Torres is a collage artist and graphic designer based in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Her digital collages are harmonious entities built upon vintage imagery.
The focus of her work is to give an old photography a new parallel life mixed with nature elements, showing the essence of history moments with a new vision. Her collages are influenced by many graphic elements, textures and bright colors, which all bring a deliberate contrast to the monochromatic pictures. The result: playful yet very delicate and beautifully crafted ensembles.
