Next in the line is the French poly artist Frédéric Drouin aka Smith Smith. This multi creative has kept himself busy with various creative outputs like Twin Daisies Records label, founded in 2009, and BRAIN, t-shirt screen-printing brand founded in 2010, before returning to his first love – the paper collage. After working his collages in different directions and then getting lost while looking for the path, Maecene Arts Collective started to represent him and put up his first exhibitions in 2014.
He says that he likes to play on several fronts, like construction, deconstruction, abstraction, humor and finesse while creating his paper ensembles. His style is in one way very ruthless and raw and when it’s mixed with eye for clever details and lovely usage of colors, the outcome is vibrant line of beauty.
