Few days ago I was watching a certain gory horror movie and suddenly these sculptures came to my mind. I had came across the works of Italian artist and sculptor Francesco Albano before but that time I didn’t pay that much attention to get his name. After a few searches around the internet I found what I was looking for and then some more…
Francesco’s works are disturbing and same time mesmerizing portraits of the collapse of the modern human in all its gutted out and torn to pieces glory. His creative process builds on certain childhood urgency and urges to experiment and he uses various materials like wax and polyester resin to create these stunning sculptures and installations that reflects the society’s racking and rotting effect on humans body and soul.
I’d love to see these in real life.
