







This year’s first artist feature brings you Howie Wonder, a collage artist living and working in Victoria, Canada. His collages are very minimal in a way he doesn’t use that many pieces to create the piece, usually just 2-3 but he brilliantly uses a lot of geometrical patterns as a backgrounds which really make the works pop out.
I came across his works on Instagram some time ago and I was immediately mesmerized by them. I specially love how geometric backgrounds turn the harmless imagery totally upside down, like a bad acid trip. He told me that he started making collages only about year ago but have been into collage art since like 2012-2013. If I think my first year’s stuff, I was all over the place with different styles…
