Residing and working in France, Musta Fior is an avid collector of books, magazines, fanzines, records, and unusual sound objects. Embracing his passion for images, Musta Fior decided to take a deep dive into the realm of collage art one summer day in 2010. As a self-taught artist, he crafts his collages using cut-out papers sourced from diverse sources, such as vintage magazines and found books. Seeking to evoke the convergence of distinct universes, he employs forgotten popular imagery, challenges conventional body representations, blends ideas and realms, and every now and then leans towards radical juxtapositions.
Rejecting aesthetic complacency and in a perpetual quest for visual surprises, Musta consistently develops new series, willingly examining and challenging his artistic approach. His collages have found their way into various artzines, magazines, webzines, collective projects, and exhibitions. Additionally, his diverse artistic methodologies have been explored in fifteen different books, each published by independent publishers, delving into the multifaceted dimensions of his creative endeavors.
