Pavel Rtue is an interesting street artist from Sevastopol, Crimea, whose abstract murals caught our attention around the internet and Instagram some time ago. He started in the 2000s to play with typical graffiti fonts and typography and then gradually developed his own technique and recognisable style without losing the original desire to experiment and discover new ways and approaches to work and create.
In his works he cleverly combines and mixes abstraction and figurative images, making of them stunning expressive figurative compositions or fonts. He himself describes his works appropriately as contemporary abstraction and experimental muralism.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions and art festivals in Crimea and Russia during the past years, so do yourself a favour and visit his website at pavelrtue.com to check out more of his visual experiments.
