With the first post of the 2017, we decided to take a acid trip to the gore land and introduce you Sarah Sitkin, Los Angles based artist who basically engineers and builds nightmares by her own hands. Her strong and macabre line of works consists from images and sculptures which doesn’t leave anybody cold.
She creates hauntingly powerful sceneries with dark, dramatic lighting and armouring the models with bizarre, self made props like masks and skin coats and leaving the photoshopping to minimum. And then her sculptural works follows the same nightmarish path – Disturbingly realistic pieces are made with materials like silicone, resin, latex, plaster and clay. Just brilliant.
