Christian Elixmann is a collage artist based in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany. He works always analogically with just glue and scissors and by turning only one or two pieces he creates very simple and minimalistic ensembles which have a beautiful melancholic yet very strong, bit haunting atmosphere and attitude that passes on to the viewer.
All begun a few years ago when he started playing with cuts from magazines and books which he found at local flea markets or bookshops in Berlin or while he was travelling. And since then he has showcased his art works in different exhibitions of contemporary art in Berlin and Europe.
He’s a member of the free Berlin collage collective “GlueHeads”.
