Ben Stainton is UK based collage artist and poet. He uses vintage and contemporary materials vivaciously together to create simple and deadpan yet very playful collages which comments on for example society, longing and fashion, without sacrificing a sense of humour. When he is collaging, he reveals that his practice is often to spread every available image across the floor of a room and walk up and down the room, looking for combinations.
He is currently represented by Brickwork Gallery, London.
As a poet, he has a small book of poems, called Edibles, out from Eyewear Publishing and was shortlised for the Bridport Prize in 2015.
