Besra – Equilibrium
The Finnish metal band Besra (@besra_band) teamed up with the incredibly talented animator Laura Matikainen (@laurainka) to create a music video for their track “Equilibrium.” This collaboration is especially exciting for me, as I know many of the band members from our local music scene, and Laura, a frequent feature on this blog, never fails to impress.
In the video, Besra’s music crashes over you like an avalanche, with Laura’s beautifully dark visuals—reminiscent of 1960s acid cartoons—perfectly complementing the band’s intense, hammering soundscapes.
